This is a great minor! Setting up my start-up, AcaBoo, is an interesting experience. The team is still fully dedicated and AcaBoo is making huge progress. The new skills and knowledge I gained during the minor are extremely useful in pursuing my entrepreneurial career.Mikel Palokaj, CEO at AcaBoo - minor 2017-2018

Assignment: develop a business idea in a Lean Canvas.
We want to challenge you to fill out a business idea in a Lean Canvas. It's to see to what extent you're able to come up with a consistent business idea (at least in theory). It's ok if your business idea is still at a very early stage and chances are relatively high that you will not use this idea during the minor at all. However, feel free to already start exploring whether this idea is worth pursuing.
The following videos will give an explanation about the Lean Canvas: Short explanation, Longer explanation.
Use the free tool to create your Lean Canvas:
Or use this pdf.
After admission: register for courses
After being admitted to the minor, you need to register for the individual courses of the minor. The course registration period for the first semester will take place on the following dates:
All information about course registration will be included in the email you receive after you are admitted to the minor. All minor students have a guaranteed spot for a course.

The money will be used for the different events, workshops (e.g. pitch training, trend discovery, business development, online lead generation), mentoring by industry experts, premium access to multiple online tools (e.g. Usability Hub, The BD school, TrendWatching, Pitching videos), snacks and drinks, and the rental of various locations for key events (e.g. the startup market and the demo day).
