The ABS Case Society presents an extracurricular training programme to practice consulting and managerial skills and to prepare students for case competitions. Second-year BSc students can participate in this integrated 6-month programme of training modules and competitions throughout the academic year.
Going beyond literature and course work, the Case Society focuses on the development of practical skills that are pivotal in a professional career. The ABS Case Society is also a community with active members who come together and share mutual interests in consultancy.
We are looking for second-year BSc students who are ambitious, analytically strong, curious, as well as those who have a team spirit and genuinely want to work on their personal development.
As part of the ABS Case Society, you:
We organise multiple internal case competitions, during which you practice problem-solving skills. Members who demonstrate excellent case-solving skills can be selected to represent the Amsterdam Business School at international competitions.
We also plan to organise our own case competition in the 2020/2021 academic year with a number of selected business schools.
Would you like to be part of this unique program focused on consultancy, and do you have at least 4 hours per week (Nov 2020 -June 2021) to invest in yourself? Please send your CV and a short motivation letter before 22 October (23:59) to Lance Cosaert.
If you still have some questions and want to find out more about the ABS Case Society, you can attend our Information Session on 15 October at 20:00 on Zoom.
Please make sure to you've opened the link to this information session 5 minutes before it begins, as we will start a short presentation at 20:00 sharp. After the introduction to the ABS Case Society you will have the opportunity to ask questions.
