Personality tests can give you insight into your strengths, weaknesses, interests, interpersonal skills, and so on. They can be helpful when you start looking for a job, or when you want to transition from one career to another.
We suggest taking one or both of the following tests. These are both widely used. Be aware, though, that they are simply indications; the tests do not present facts.
The Big 5 Personality Test gives you feedback on five personality traits: openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism. This is meant to help you find out how you respond in different situations.
Based on the personality theory described by the famous psychologist Carl Jung, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator shows how your personality corresponds to that of sixteen types. This indication may help you figure out what roles you can play in an organisation.
For additional insights we encourage you to discuss the results with your friends and family, or you can analyse your results with one of our careers advisers.
